Rima Raminfar - Direction female assistant

born in 1970 in Tehran. She studied theatre production at the University of Tehran. She has been performing on the stage, directing and writing pieces since 1990. After her studies she founded the free group Emrooz (Eng. Today), who in the meantime is one of the most famous in Iran. Their minimalistic pieces are often about claustrophobic situations and contact poverty. For her piece Then until morning, which was also shown in Europe, she won the award for the best authoress at the Fadjr-Festival, 2000. She also writes sitcoms for Iranian television, which caricature daily life in Iran.
